I have been involved in the Laotian ministry at Advent Lutheran Church at
various stages of my Christian walk with God.  It’s all began in January 1998 when pastor
asked to me help with the youth Sunday school.  Then In February 2005 I learned to how
play keyboard and began helping the church with worship music.   Currently, I’m leading
Sunday worship and sermon for the Laotians community when pastor is not available.  God
had opened the door for me to serve Him at Laotians Worshiping community.

I realized that when God takes control of my life and His Holy Spirit lives inside me; there is
a sense of being called to be God's servant.  God has been using me in so many ways not
just within the local church but within the Laotians community as well.  Visiting and
praying for the sick and being there when someone need a person to talk to.  There are
challenges and obstacles being God disciple.  But God's grace is sufficient for me.  God is
continuing to mold and make me into a man of God He wants me to be.

One of my favorite verse is in the Gospel John 15:15, "I do not call you servants any longer,
because the servant does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends,
because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father." (NRSV)

This verse really opening up my heart and mind to totally new way of thinking.  As God's
disciple or believer in Jesus Christ, I am no longer just his servants but his friend.  There is
no limit to what God can do whether it's in Laotian ministry, praying for the sick, or
missionary, God can do all things.  After all, it's not about us, it's about God.
